Memorial Day was first observed after the Civil War to honor the fallen soldiers. After World War I, Memorial Day became a day to honor soldiers who had died in any war.
Please take time today to remember our military men and women who have died in combat. They have sacrificed their lives to bring us the freedoms we enjoy.
