It’s been a busy weekend!  Friday night I went to a Stampin’ Up party at a friend’s house.  The event was titled "Stamping Under The Stars", and we set up our supplies outside under the floodlights.  It was a lot of fun, and I made a couple of very cool cards.  Unfortunately the mosquitoes were biting that night, and now I’m covered in red, itchy bumps.  To make matters worse, the headline in the paper the next day was "West Nile Virus Found in Medford".  In the neighborhood where the party was located.  Yikes!

Saturday morning, I was reading the Problogger Blog.  If you’ve never visited this blog, I highly recommend you put it on your daily blog read list.  Darren Rowse provides a wealth of information on making your blog better.  Anyway, Saturday morning Darren posted about responding to comments on your blog.  I usually respond by email, but I was wondering if it was better to respond on the blog post itself, so I asked the question in the comments.  I was surprised about an hour later when I checked the blog again, only to see my name in a new post answering my question.  I know.  It’s a hokey thing to get excited about, but I was thrilled.

Finally, if you are the mother of a daughter or a daughter of a mother, consider writing a post for a new carnival at Real Life.  The entries need to be in by August 25, and you may write about anything related to mothers and daughters.  The carnival will be posted at Real Life on August 27.  I can’t wait to read the entries!

I would love to write more, but I MUST get the laundry done, or I really will be stuck Under the Clutter today!
