Boy, do I have a lot to tackle today! We’re camping this weekend, and I’m babysitting on Thursday, so I need to get a bunch of things done before then.
First off, I need to do my Weekly Home Blessing. I used to be pretty good about following Flylady’s plan for home organization, but I’ve fallen off the Fly-Wagon recently. I’m trying to get back into it. Heaven knows my house needs it! And I just noticed she has a new Control Journal for Students! I need to put that on my list of things to check out. I’m all for my kids getting organized!
I also need to balance my checkbook and pay the bills. It’s one of my least favorite tasks, but it needs to get done.
Then I need to make a grocery list and a camping supply list. I’m going to do most of the shopping tomorrow, and I learned last week that shopping with kids and without a list is a big mistake. I need to take my kids with me tomorrow, but at least I can make sure I have a list.
Finally, if I have time, I want to tweak my whole organizational system. I’ve been using Vitalist to keep a list of things that need to be done. I really like it, but I need to be better about updating it.
I’m sure I could add a ton more to this list, but I don’t want to overwhelm myself. This should take up a big chunk of my day.

I know how hard it is to keep organizing systems “updated.” I am really good at starting a system but fail to follow through. I guess we all have to find what works for us. Have a fun time blessing your house.

Thanks everyone! I got almost everything accomplished today. I didn’t get to updating Vitalist. Maybe I’ll still try to do that tonight.
