This week’s project at Wrapped Emotions was pretty simple on the surface. We were to find a notebook of some sort in which to keep our projects.

I say this project was simple on the surface, because nothing is ever simple when you’re a perfectionist like me. I set out early this morning to find the perfect artist’s notebook. I stopped at Michael’s. All they had were green sketch books. I stopped at Barnes & Noble. All they had were boring brown notebooks. Certainly nothing worthy of my projects!

I went to the mall and stopped at Waldenbooks and Evangel. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Finally I had to go to Walmart to pick up a prescription. After scouring the store, I was finally hit with inspiration. Here it is. Lynnae Unwrapped.

I tell you, I’m inspired, just not motivated. I’m gonna have to check that site out. I love your book.

My mom has these leather-bound books of watercolor paper that she takes with her everywhere and fills with sketches and water color paintings of places she sees in her travels, I just love looking through them, they’re amazing.

    Thanks everyone!

And is anyone besides me annoyed by the way my theme formats posts with pictures? I’m going to have to fix that. :)

It’s wonderful Lynnae! I almost didn’t get to this week’s project because I couldn’t find the absolute perfect thing. Perfectionists unite! (And stop trying to be so perfect!)

I have to laugh (not at your book!) because I am so NOT a perfectionist. I guess I’m the messy artistic type. But, I always know where everything is (unless it gets put away!!LOL) Your book looks great! Love the red color and little window peeking through!

I know just what you mean about thinking this would be simple and then realizing it wasn’t.
I really love how you layed everything out in your journal. Looks Great!
