Linky Love - Things that make me smile edition
It’s been a rough week. My husband lost his job, so the mood has been a little blue in our house this week. Still, there have been plenty of smiles. Here are some of the things in bloggy-world that have made me smile.
- I discovered a new-to-me blog that had me rolling with laughter. Canned Laughter by TX Poppet. Thanks, TX Poppet for commenting on my blog so I could find yours!
- Cardiogirl has coined a new phrase: “I had to cuss out the pig.” It means I’m not doing so well. I wish I would have known about that phrase earlier this week.
- I made the stew recipe that Kandy posted at Ramblings of a Redneck Woman. Until now I have never had a stew turn out right, but her recipe was so easy! I’ll be making it again for sure! It was definitely a bright spot on a rainy autumn day.
- Melody at Slurping Life shows us how to cuss like an Aspie. (is it bad that I’m amused by all these cussing posts this week?)
- Rebecca at A Walk Through the Valley posted a You-Tube video of Fernando Ortega’s Give Me Jesus. It’s a great song, and really that’s what it’s all about, right?
Finally, make sure you stop by Where the Heart is to leave some encouragement for Jennifer. Her baby should be arriving any day now, and I’m sure she would appreciate the extra prayers.
Enjoy the reading, and have a great weekend!

You are too kind, Lynnae! Thanks for linking me. I meant to tell you last time I was here that I love the background dots (left and right) and the lady bug on top. So cute!
Also, I’m excited to try that stew recipe as well. It sounds dee-lish!

You are always so thoughtful to think of me…….yes, I could use some encouragement. I am trying so hard to be patient—it’s difficult. Love you Lynnae!!
