It’s been a super busy week, and this weekend looks even busier. Any other week, I’d just be tempted to skip the Wrapped Emotions project and call it good. But this week, Jenny at LIVE! And In Color is hosting a special edition just for Melody, who has had a tough week. And I just can’t skip that.Here’s the prompt:
My challenge to you, whether you’re a regular WE participant or not, is to help me “send” a bouquet of flowers to Melody. Draw, paint, craft or photo a flower this week and post it to your blog. It can be as elaborate or simple as you like. Maybe say a few words about what Melody and Wrapped Emotions have meant to you.
Since I haven’t had the time to draw, paint or snap a picture (are there even any flowers still blooming outside?), I’m going to cheat and post a picture of a flower I took this past spring.
I love this picture because it’s bright and cheery. And that’s how Melody is, even when she’s going through hard times. Her posts and comments always make me smile, and her faith warms my heart. I appreciate her desire to help us get in touch with our emotions through Wrapped Emotions.So hang in there, Melody! There are a lot of people praying for you. And I hope gathering up your bouquet of flowers as you visit the WE blogs this week brings you as much joy as you bring each of us week after week!

Such a stunning photo! I wouldn’t consider it cheating to use a photo you took in the past because it’s still a great expression of your talent and creativity! Great job, I’m sure Melody is going to love it.
